Saturday 9.30am Ridgeway Walk Bulletin

It been a tough night's walking. Legs aching, feet hurting, tired but otherwise surviving. Thanks to Jerome for the hot soup provided at midnight and to Richard for joining the crew at 4am in the rain to walk to Streatley. Arrived at the Swan at Streatley about 7.30am, a little behind schedule but ready for toast & tea. Baz & Presso were fantastic support through the night but their legs will carry them no further! Walking with Steve & Jenny to Swancombe, sore feet but otherwise in good spirits.
