Run Report Wed 19th July 2006 - Prince Albert, Frieth

Here is last weeks run report from Kate.

6 in total! Me, spider, chris & Susie, Amanda & jules! Yes, I know it
was hot but it wasn't that bad, and it was very local for some of you so
location was not an issue! Admittedly Chris and Jules did start to run
from Radnage but flagged Susie down to pick them up half way. This was
actually quite a good move for the other runners at it meant we were
able to keep up with them on the main run.
The route was not the normal one from the Prince Albert, taking us down
over the hills to Skirmitt, around into Fingest and then up the hill to
Frieth. Not too long and fairly shady in parts. Various grumbles on
route but as normal mainly from the male section! Chris did the gallant
thing and made sure Amanda and Susie didn't get lost in the woods. With
the woods negotiated they went straight to the pub and ordered the
first G&T of the evening.
Having such small numbers we managed to all sit at one table which was
nice albeit a little cosy. A good time had by all, just a slight regret
that we did not have the kitty so we could have had more of a good time.
This week is the Jolly Farmer in Cookham Dean, 7pm. We are minus Amanda
and Jules this week as they are on holiday, making a grand total of 4 if
last weeks' attendance figures is anything to go by! So please come,
there is some kitty to spend and a small run just might keep you fit.
